Technology

Lewis has a technology rich, Mac-based environment. Third, fourth and fifth grade students utilize the computer lab for research, communication and creativity. Lessons range from researching local and world geography, distances and continents through Google Earth to learning music composition with Garage Band. Students also create original art, explore digital photography, and construct virtual buildings and communities in the computer lab.

On Friday, students in 4th and 5th grade worked in the technology lab creating short animation projects around the theme of the Dr. King holiday and or the Inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama.
