Mr. Colvin’s 4th graders I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
Here is our agenda for today:
10 Minutes of Typing Club – Make sure to keep you hands on the home row and eyes on the screen.
20 Minutes of Scratch/MaKey MaKey – Before you begin, I would like to do a quick “check-in” to see what was accomplished on Friday.
Mr. Colvin’s 4th grader and Mr. Marchyok’s 5th graders I’m out sick today. Mr. Schnoor will be you guest teacher today. Please be helpful and courteous to him.
I’d like you to start with 10 minutes of Typing Club.
Following typing please return to you pairs from yesterday to finish coding your game project that I introduced. Please do not get the MaKey MaKey boards out today. Just concentrate on finishing the code. If you finish early you can work on Code.org.
Here are the screen shots for the Scatch game I demonstrated yesterday. Click on image to see it in full size.

Mr. Colvin’s 4th graders today we are going to take the time to see just how the MaKey MaKey can be integrated with Scratch.
We are going to build a simple two player game that uses the MaKey MaKey board to control two sprites.
You will need to work in a team of two. So find a partner and we will begin.
