Wednesday, April 2

Good Afternoon,

Ms. Speer’s 5th graders let’s first discuss & demonstrate how to get the videos you took yesterday from your Nexus to Google Drive and then into iMovie. I’ll spend just a few minutes showing you were to find help with iMovie.

If you have more filming to do, you will have some time in the second half of class to do it.

Good Morning,

Mrs. Rotwein’s 4th graders today we’ll be learning about “line” and “shape” and how incorporate these two designs elements in our photographs.

Tuesday, April 1

Welcome to the first day of April!

Due to state mandatory assessment practices, we will not be able to film our movie projects today.
Instead we will be taking the Oregon State Typing Test (OSTT) which will score you speed, accuracy and your ability to keep you fingers on home row position.

The minimum passing marks for 4th grade are 30 WPM, 98% Accuracy and >2% Error Rate.

The minimum passing marks for 5th grade are 40 WPM, 98% Accuracy and >2% Error Rate.

Please come to the board and I’ll explain the testing rules and procedures.

Depending on how we score today, will determine if we will need to retest tomorrow.
