Please start typing for 10 minutes.

We’ll then return here to check out these the sites below.

The 2010 Winter Olympics starts today. Let’s look at the website.
Even though Vancouver, B.C. is not too far away, most of us are probably not traveling north for the event. Thank goodness for Google Earth & Google Maps. We can see many of the sites for these Olympics including at tour of all the building and even the check out slopes.

I’ve already downloaded the tours to your desktop. We’ll be visiting them shortly.

But first we’ll take a look a this video that shows how Google was able to get real views of the ski slope. You can see most of it here at Google Maps Mania.

4th Graders: Please start with typing for 10 minutes. Afterwards I check in with you on your Garageband projects.

5th Grade: Please work on your graphs for the fist 15 minutes of class. I believe you have a 3rd graph to work on, a pie chart. Afterwards I check in with you on your Garageband projects.

Today you will have Mrs. Crouse in the lab helping you. Please welcome her, and follow all her instructions.

4th Graders: Please start class with 10 minutes of typing. When you’re through, you can continue working on the Garageband assignment you started yesterday. The easiest way to find it, is to launch Garageband. Goto File >Open Recent. Choose you project from the drop down list.

5ht Graders: Please spend the first 15 minutes of class working on your line graphing projects. If your finished then type for the first 15 minutes. Afterwards you may continue working on you Garageband Assignment that you started yesterday. To find it simply launch Garageband. Goto File > Open Recent and choose your project from the drop down list.
