Good Morning,

4th Graders: Please start with 5 minutes of ParaTyper. I will then show you a new way that we will be keeping track to assignments here in technology. Finally you check in on your mushers and log their progress.
You’ll need the following websites:

Edmodo
Iditarod

5th Graders: We’ll spend some time looking for mushers on the Iditarod website. Then I review how to keep track of them using the chart you downloaded yesterday. If you have graphs to finish, this is the last day to do them. Use your time wisely.

Iditarod

4th Graders: Start with typing for 10 minutes. We’ll then check in on our mushers and fill in our charts. I’ll show you how to calculate their average speed and total racing times.

5th Graders: You’ll start back in at Edmodo. There is a new groups for you to join, some rules to agree on, and a new assignment to learn about. I will also show you how to turn in an assignment through Edmodo.

Today we’ll start class by taking a look at how things are progressing in 2010 Iditarod.

We’ll then each pick two mushers to track. I’ll explain how to do this using a new tool called Edmodo.

I will be back for Boomin’ Beats at lunch today for Gould and Keefer kids.

Today please start with Raz Kids. You should all know your class password. If not ask a fellow classmate.
I also posted the video that we watched last Friday if you’d like to watch it after you’re finished with Raz Kids.

We’ll start by trying to play some online math games at Arcademic Skill Builders.
This has not always worked, so be patient.
Afterward we’ll be working on our Portland Building in SketchUp.

Welcome to the last Friday of February!
Spring is on its way.

Let’s type for the first 10 minutes.
After words can you open up the document on your desktop called.
“Energy”.
Take a few minutes to answer the questions.
We’ll then be watching a short video about the this subject.
