Good Afternoon,
It’s Garageband day!!!
Good Morning,
Start with typing for the first 15 minutes of class.
Then we’ll check in on the 2008 Iditarod.
If there is time I’d like you to finish your Garden Posters and save a copy to the the Shared Work Folder.
Look for your Lab time in this folder.
Good Morning,
Please type for 15 minutes.
You will then work with a partner to answer some research questions concerning the Iditarod.
On your desktop you’ll find a document titled “2008 Iditarod Research”
With a friend and navigate to the official Iditarod website to answer the proposed questions.
We will discuss your answers at the end of class today.

Good Afternoon 3rd Graders,
Please type for 15 minutes.
After that we’ll check in on the Iditarod website. Today I’ll show you how you can track a musher in real time.
I’ll also show you how we can use Google Earth to follow the race.
Good Morning,
After typing for the first 10 minutes of class, we will return to our Iditarod tracking.
Today we will learn to decipher the official website to find information on trackers, weather, history and up to the minute musher positions.
We’ll also see what all this looks like in Google Earth. Click the link below to get started.
Good Morning,
Please start with one drill in Master Key
Next we will check in on the Iditarod. As you might know, the race started Saturday.
Who’s in the lead? What’s the weather conditions at the front of the race? The middle? The back?
We’ll also spend a little time going over the history of the race.
