Good Morning.

No testing today!!!!! :)
I have a couple of things I’d like you to look at today. Afterwards you’ll have some free time to draw, design, or type.

First, if you look below this entry, Mr. Lauer has two posts that you should look at. One features posters for the food drive and the other is a short video concerning Harvest of the Month. This video was taken yesterday at Lewis and was part of an Oregonian article.

After that I have a couple of sites I’d like to look at together.
The Iditarod begins this Saturday. Don’t know what that is?
We’ll find out together.

Harvest of the Month

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

The Oregonian has an article today about Harvest of the Month that highlights Lewis. They also have a short video that is listed below. It might be an interesting study for you to compare and contrast the two pieces and see what your friends think regarding the point of view of the authors… Maybe some of our older students would like to write an article with a different point of view? Also, please note that I believe they misidentify Violet in second grade in the piece. Maybe Ms. Leake’s students would like to blast off an email so they can correct it.
