Opening Title
Voice Overs/Overdubs/Cue Cards
Transitions
Theme Song/Music
Closing Credits

If you forgot any of this, re-edit your film.
When you’re finished, call me over to review it.

Good morning and welcome back. I hope you all had a good three day weekend.

We’ve got about 2 weeks left to finish our documentary project.

Today I’ll quickly be reviewing with you how to add titles and transitions.

Check to see if your movie has:

Opening Title
Voice Overs/Overdubs/Cue Cards
Transitions
Theme Song/Music
Closing Credits

Continue to work on your movies.

We’ll get cameras to those that need them.

For others, please continue to edit your film.
Tip: If you recorded live dialog, make sure you’re able to hear and understand it. If not you may have to “overdub” the voices.

Theme Music (done in Garageband)

Good Morning.

We first need to have a talk about camera safety.

You’ll then be working on your documentary projects. Directors for the day will check out a camera and and pick one other person from their group to assist them.

Everyone else should be working on editing, titles, effects, transitions, voice overs, and music.

We’ll be doing map making this session.

I’ll be showing you this site, Wise Design.

Then we’ll be taking pictures of the outdoor center and then posting to the Wise Owl Forum.

Next 20 Minutes, Directors and Film crew decide who’s filming today.

Some of you may be leaving with Mr. Lauer. He’ll let you know.
For the remainder of the time we’ll be reviewing iMovie.

Welcome back 4th graders. I hope you had a great time at camp.

We’ll start with a brief review of what has been happening in tech class the last two days.

We’ll then break into our production groups. There you’ll check in with each other and decide whose day it is to direct. I would like it if kids who where gone away to camp be given a chance to direct today.

When you’ve decided, directors need to look at their scripts and storyboards and make a plan for today’s shoot.

The camera person should then come to the back to check out a camera.

Just a quick talk and then you’ll be off video taping.

Remember to leave yourself at least 15 minutes to import your videos.

We need to go over some filming guidelines before we start.

We’ll then pass out filming schedules.

Directors, please review you storyboard and script and make a plan for today’s shoot. Explain what you want and need from your crew.

Camera persons will come to the back to check out video cameras.

Remember you only have 20 minutes to film.
