Welcome back. I hope you all had a great weekend. I understand that in Lab last Friday Mr. Lauer allowed time for you to work on youf documentary projects.

So, if you’ve finished writing your script and it was approved by either myself or Mr. Lauer, you are ready for the next stage of preproduction work, THE STORYBOARD!

The storyboard is a visual map of your film. Think about the order of scenes, camera angles, and any potential problems/special circumstances for you location/film. You’ll find the storyboard template on your desktop. Ask if you need help.

What you’ll need is a digital camera, a copy of your script and a clipboard. You can check out a camera at the back table. When you return you’ll also need the USB cables on the back table in order to import your pictures to you computer.

Remember to allow yourself at least 5 minutes to import you pictures.
