4th & 5th Graders
There are no morning technology classes today due to the late school start. We will continue our work tomorrow.
Good Morning!
Today we should be finishing up our work on the Garageband scoring project. When you’re done, I would like to hear it. You should then “export to disk” using the sharing menu. You then need to save it to the Shared Work file on the server.
For those of you who have finished with this entire process you may choose your own project to work on for today.
Today we’ll be learning how to “Share” your finished soundtrack project and where to copy it. We’ll be doing this first. When and if you finish this step, you may then proceed to Master Key.
Good Morning!
Please start by completing one drill in Master Key. If you are through all the drills, please let me know and I’ll set you up for next level.
Today I’ll show you what you need to do to finish your project.
Good Morning and Welcome Back!
I hope you all had a restful three day weekend. Today you should start with 1-2 drill in Master Key. When your done, please move on to you Garageband movie scoring project.
Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Today I want to show you how to make markers in Garageband. These markers will make it easier for you to use musical cues that line up with your movie. Then I would like you to show you how to create an play virtual instruments.
4th & 5th Graders
After completing one drill in Master Key please continue to work on your movie score in Garageband. You should be able to access your file by opening Garageband and clicking on the “Open Existing Project” button.
Today I’ll show you how to find sound effects, rename tracks, and combine different instruments in the same track.
4th & 5th Graders,
After completing one or two drills in Master Key continue to work on you movie score in Garageband. You should be able to find your project by clicking on the “Open Existing Project” button.
Today I’ll show you how to do a voice over and some post production work, like fade outs, effects and panning.
3rd Graders
Please start our time by doing one or two drills in Master Key. When fisnished you should open Garageband and find your 32 Bar project using the “Open Existing Project” button. Once in your project, work to complete your song by adding a fade out and the mixing techniques that I’ll demonstrate today. When your done we’ll export your song to iTunes.
Remember, if you have Read Naturally head phones grab them now. If you are using the lab’s silver head phones, please wait until I’ve cleaned them.
4th & 5th Graders
Start today by doing one or two drills in Master Key depending how long your drills last. Try not to spend more than 10 minutes typing.
Next open up the Garageband Project you stated yesterday. It should be named “Your Name” Movie 1. Continue to add a musical score. Your score should match well to the overall feel of the movie. Remember a successful score enhances the visuals or the story. It should never destract from what you are seeing. You should also try a to add a “voice over” track.
I’ll be around to help out if you need me.
