What is Scrip? Gift Cards for stuff you were going to buy anyway! Check out this short video for more information.


When: During School Office hours

Where: School Office

Why: To support Lewis PTA Programs, such as RAZ kids and Lewis Library book purchases.

How: Bring check or cash to purchase Scrip (pre-paid gift cards) that we carry on-hand. Cards from the following stores are regularly available in the school office: New Seasons, Fred Meyer, Safeway,, Powell’s Books, and Starbucks.

You can also pre-order scrip cards from a larger list of merchants. Order forms are available in the school office and online. Please complete your form, and leave it in the scrip box located in the office, with payment. Orders placed by 3:00 Monday will be available for pick up after 3:00 Thursday of each week (school holiday adjustments may be pertinent so watch the school newsletter for details).

"Before the movie, before the cartoon, was the book. The book and I are about the same age, having both arrived in the early 1950s. I was in fourth grade in Mrs. Stansell's class in Gold Beach, Oregon and she read several novels during the year, but the one that hooked me was Charlotte's Web. I have read it to every class I have ever taught since I started teaching. Plus I read it to my own two kids when they were around 9 or 10.
