Our week is a busy one with wrapping up projects, attending assemblies, taking part in field day, and celebrating special people with goodbye parties. We want to thank Ms. Armstrong for a fabulous job, and wish her well for a teaching job next year. We are also cashing in on two of our prizes from the canned food drive earlier this year–having breakfast served to us by the fifth graders and eating our lunch in the outdoor center.
This has been a terrific year! I have so enjoyed every single child I’ve had in my class. Helping them grow, learn, and work through their struggles to become better citizens is such a rewarding experience! Thank you, parents, for all your support, volunteer time, and consistent homework encouragement for your child. Don’t forget about the summer reading program, and to keep reviewing those multiplication facts with your child! Have a wonderful summer and stop by and see me next year.
