This week we’ve begun the study of Oregon’s history. We ‘re reading about the land bridge theory of how the first inhabitants may have come to this continent, and how after hundreds of years, European explorers found Native Americans living in most parts of North and South America. We are taking a quick overview of the major regions of the U. S. and how the Native Americans’ way of life varied by these regions according to the natural resources found there.
In art we had fun each mixing the three primary colors to make secondary colors, and then continuing to mix to make intermediate colors. With each new color, we painted a swatch, and these we’ll put together to make our own color wheels.
