We’ll Have the Whole World in Our Hands!

Hopefully, your child gave you the letter about our geography projects on Monday so that you can support his/her efforts!  Just a reminder…everyone needs to bring a whole orange to school by Thursday for a special geography project.  We are easing into homework slowly; a basic math page was assigned on Monday and is due on Friday.  Our homework organizers are still at the district print shop so we are keeping track of our reading on a piece of paper each week.  Each student is assigned 30 minutes of reading for five days unless they have an IEP for modified homework.  We will begin our Bike Safety Program next Monday, and we are also planning on walking to Jean’s farm for a brief visit to see what’s grown over the summer.  Watch for permission slips for our Jean’s Farm trip.  A big THANK YOU to all families who returned all the beginning of the year forms!  See you at the picnic on Thursday; come see our Summer Sandwiches and sign up for conferences at that time.
