We are continuing to learn about different kinds of animals. After acting out the story of The Three Little Pigs, our class painted pictures of pigs, including key body parts like 4 legs, snout, pointy ears, and a curly tail. After learning about birds, we drew pictures of birds, showing their beaks, feathers, wings, and clawed feet. This week we learned more penguin facts with Lee, and we will also discover some things about bears and fish.
We are introducing some new interactive toys for cause-and-effect activities. Some students have been doing math activities on www.prongo.com to build their counting and addition skills. Since students were out of school for a whole week, we will also continue to review some of the rules and routines.
