We have had a wonderful week in Room 1 this week. We have started doing worktime in our individual centers. It is going so smoothly. This class is fantastic! They are so excited to learn and it shows in their work and their outstanding efforts at personal best. We are all getting excited about our upcoming field trip on October 14th. It so happens that our story this week is about field trips. It is Miss Bindergarten Takes a Field Trip. We are talking about story setting, making a word web categorizing places her class went. In math center they are playing a number comparing game with a partner. In science we are continuing to learn about trees. We are observing pine cones and documenting what we see. On another note, Run For the Arts is coming up on October 13th. We will be running at 11:00 on that day. Parents are invited to come and cheer us on.
