This week we are gearing up for our annual Family Art Night. It is next week on Thursday, May 6th. We are also beginning drama next week with our artist in residence. We will have drama for 30 minutes a day, four days a week for four weeks. This will culminate with a drama performance on May 27th in the morning. And to make the week even busier, we are going on a field trip Friday May 7th… Whew!  Our lead story this week is called Max Takes a Train. In worktime we will be making word webs of kinds of transportation. In math  will be graphing kinds of transportation. We will be drawing and writing out the sequence of the story. A few of the vocabulary words we are learning this week are: excursion, impatient, transportation, jetway and subway. We will be meeting with our reading buddies from Ms. Vasquez’s class on Friday to do an activity.
