I hope you all had a relaxing Spring Break. This week our class will be focusing on the letter and sounds of Ee through workjob centers, Art, Math, Science and Literacy. I will be reading different versions of The Velveteen Rabbit by various authors and illustrators and there will be class discussions on each story’s simularities and differences. In journal writing, many students are writing “chapters” each day that tell a complete story; we have been practicing writing more complex sentences, putting in conversation bubbles and thought bubbles and writing multiple sentences with complete punctuation. The new high frequency words are: they, of and on. In Math, estimation and story problems using multiplication and division are continuing. Please make sure to bring in your Run For The Arts completed forms in. The run will take place on April 9 at 9:30 for Kindergarten.
