It was so nice meeting with you last week for parent conferences. Each child has grown so much academically in reading and writing! This is a short week-Friday I will be completing report cards that will be sent home next Friday. The letter/sound of Ff will be taught/reviewed through a variety of projects. Children have read and illustrated a book, “Yellow Moon, Yellow Moon, What Do You See?”, and have begun work time centers, using the focus story, Bear Snores On. Measuring, labeling, observing a feather, categorizing, sequencing events and characters of a story are all part of the weekly work. We continue daily writing, calendar math, science and art.
