I hope you all had a relaxing three day week-end. This is our last week of work time centers. We continue with Drama with Michael each afternoon and are learning about different kinds of bugs. Children are making “mutant bugs”, using the three body parts of an insect and then turning them into their own imaginary bug. Today we had an assembly about Mother Nature that was performed by Metro. Children drew the main and supporting characters from the book, The Clumsy Click Beetle, by Eric Carle, and on Friday they will make a different character from an Eric Carle book using painted paper with their buddy. We continue with subtraction and addition math problems, using higher numbers. Please keep these dates in mind:
