Welcome To A New Year!
As I stated in my Introduction Letter my primary goal in September is to create a “Community of Learners.” The students are learning classroom routines, behavioral expectations, the proper way to use classroom materials, and getting to know each other. It’s my belief that my responsibility as an educator is to provide students with a solid foundation that will make students feel safe and ready to learn.
• There’s a Morning Message every day. It gives the students an idea of what their day will look like. It’s their responsibility to take it home and share with family.
• Homework will start on Wednesday, September 29th.
• Snack time is at 10 o’clock. We voted to have healthy snacks! No candy or cookies.
• The door facing Evergreen is an alternative for morning arrival and afternoon departures.
