Welcome back! We hope you all had a restful Thanksgiving Break. We enjoyed having the chance to meet with you during conferences to discuss your child’s academic and social growth. As you are aware, our classroom will be going through a transition of teachers next month, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. We are excited to have Elissa Dingus joining the 3rd grade team. In reading, we are discussing cause and effect relationships in the stories we are reading. Ask your child to share a cause and effect relationship from Miss Nelson is Missing. In writing, we are working on the final drafts of our collection pieces. Thank you to all of you who have donated money to our Heifer International rabbit fund. We have almost reached our 60 dollar goal. Thank you for your ongoing support.
