Well the end of the school year is upon us. The Boomin’ Beats have one last performance this Friday for the annual School Picnic. We’ll be playing at 6:00 out in quad area. I’m hoping the June sunshine will break through for this last event. I wish everyone a fantastic summer break. If you played in Band or Strings and wanted to rent your instrument over the summer, you can still do this. Come see me or send me an email so we can set things up. The instrument rental cost is $25 for the summer. I also wanted to share that we have been awarded a $500 grant through the First Octave Grant Program. I’ll be purchasing several floor drums (djembe and congas) for our general music classrooms for next year with these funds.
