This is the time of year when I feel like we are running out of time. I know end of the school year will be upon us sooner than we think, and there is still so much to do. The Lewis Garden Fair, Talent Show, and Art Night are all happening in the next 4 weeks. Also on the music schedule is this weeks Drama production with Ms. Vasquez and Ross’ classes; and joint concert with the Buckman Choir on May 4th. At the end of May we’ll be having an all music night with Band, Strings, Recorder and the Boomin Beats. The first of June brings a last performance opportunity at the Lewis Picnic.
All this leads to the plea to all music students to practice, practice, practice those instruments. Make every attempt to come to rehearsals during the week. Make sure you have your instrument and music. And if you can, have some fun!
