It has been a busy week around the music room. 3rd Grade recorder club started last Friday. It was a big hit. We played, laughed, sung, and danced all morning. As one student said to me on the way out “Friday’s are my favorite day!”
On Monday this week 4th Grade strings started. Another great turn out and another great group of enthusiastic kids. Even though we didn’t touch a violin on Monday, kids came up to me saying how much fun they had. Just wait until they are actually playing!
Next Tuesday, November 2nd when everyone else is turning in their ballots, we’ll starting 5th Grade band. I’ve gotten quite a large response so far. I think it’s going to be a great band this year.
