Join Reading is an Investment today!
Reading is an Investment is designed to highlight the importance of reading, while teaching children about the world of money and basic financial concepts.
This program, sponsored in partnership with the State Treasurer and the Oregon College Savings Plan, is launched each year in every public elementary school in Oregon.
Children who complete the program will receive fun prizes, a certificate of acheivement, and will have chance to receive one of 50 $500 Oregon College Savings Plan scholarships to be awarded in April 2008. Children must complete the program by March 14, 2008 to receive prizes and be entered into the scholarship drawing.

A gameboard and reading list are being sent home with each student. Ms. Tori will read 2 of 3 books required from the reading list during library time prior to the March 14th deadline.
