***A giant thank you goes to our classroom volunteers who have been helping with a secretive stitchery project for the auction. Our extraordinary parent helpers Anonda (Hanna L’s mom), Eve (Micaela’s mom), Jen (Oliver’s mom) and Kelly (Max’s mom) have worked with each child in our class to give them an opportunity to be a part of the project.
***I’m looking to collect a class load of weather pages from the Oregonian. That’s the page with the local, national, and world forecasts. Feel free to turn them in daily or save up a few and just send them in with your child. If you spot any other fascinating weather articles, please send them along.
***Our next field trip is February 28th to see a ballet at the Keller Auditorium. We’ll be traveling there by Tri-Met. I’ll send a reminder home next week.
***We’ve had some fun studying about the artist Picasso. Watch for our colorful portraits coming soon!
