We have Buddies! Starting next week, Mrs. Leake’s class and ours will be joining together every other Friday afternoon for a few minutes to do Buddy activities with each other. We are very excited about Buddies. We have some siblings in Mrs. Leake’s class and some of our students had her as their teacher in second grade. We are writing letters of introduction to our buddies.
We are nearing the end of Charlotte’s Web, a book that is near and dear to my heart (thank you Mrs. Stansell for reading it to me in 4th grade!). As a way of wrapping things up (pardon the pun), I want the students to work on a Charlotte’s Web project at home between now and Friday, Nov. 19. Details on this project have been sent home.
Thank you to those students who are doing a great job keeping up with the Reading Logs at home. That daily practice can make a lot of difference.
