We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable three day weekend! We are pleased to be back in the classroom and are enjoying these last few weeks of school with our wonderful kindergartners in Room 4.
This is our last week of work time centers. We are transitioning into the study of various insects using nonfiction and fiction literature. This unit is focusing on the concept of comparing and contrasting.
This week is Spirit Week at Lewis! Information on this was sent home with students on Tuesday. To reiterate the week’s festivities, Wednesday is monochromatic Day, Thursday is pajama day, and Friday is mixed up clothes day.
Tuesday, June 7, we are going on a field trip to the Children’s Museum. Permission slips were sent home with students on Wednesday. Please have the signed permission slip returned to school by Friday, June 3.
We will also be having an end of the year reading buddy celebration on Monday, June 13 at Berkeley Park. More information will be sent home regarding this outing in the near future.
