This week students are planning and carrying out their own “variables” investigation. Students are investigating flippers, swingers, planes, and boats from the fifth grade science kit. In the midst of all this fun (and work) each student is creating a science work sample that will be scored; scores are reported to the state. Also we are finishing up four fabulous art masterpieces that will be offered at the Lewis School auction…get your wallet out! You’re going to want to bid on this art. Keep encouraging your child to read this week; reading logs are due on Friday. Students who do not turn in their logs are missing recess.
