Tomorrow we will be visiting the Cooley Art Gallery at Reed College during the afternoon; parents who have had a background check are welcome to go with us! We will be leaving school at 12:30 p.m. Last Friday we had an exciting auction, and fifth graders used their Gould Gold to “buy” special items the teachers have collected. If you have anything you think a fifth grader would love to have, please donate it for our next auction! Last week we finished our statewide reading assessment; next week we will take the math assessment in the mornings. Students may finish these tests over several days, and these tests are important benchmark tests for fifth graders. Please make sure your child comes to school rested! Thank you for your continued support with homework; our science exhibits are looking fabulous.
