By the time you read this, we will know the results of our election! Ask your child about who won. At this time I will not be assigning a BIG homework project on our next unit; your child will have another project assigned after Winter Break. However, regular math and reading homework will continue each week. This week Ms. Breen started her “Artists and Inventors” research unit during writing time. Also Gregory MacNaughton came in on Monday and talked to our class about the exhibit at Reed College Cooley Gallery. We will be visiting Reed College to see the exhibit on December 5th and need parent volunteers to walk over with us. Are you available? See you next week for your child’s conference; your child is also welcome to attend if you agree. I find it is useful to talk to both parent and student about work and goal setting. Please keep checking that homework weekly!
