It was wonderful spending time with you at conferences! We shared current benchmark expectations ,your child’s progress and challenges and all the awesome writing, math and science projects they have been accomplishing! I look forward to the rest of our year together. I hope your Thanksgiving Holiday was excellent! As we get back into our daily schedule again, please be sure to get your child ready for bed and tucked in for a story no later than 8:30 as these 5-6 year olds need approximately 10 hours of solid sleep each night. Adults, try for at least 8! This is a busy season and having a schedule to depend on each day will support not only our children emotionally and academically but also help to keep our families happy. This week at school, Chloe is our Person of the Week. We are going to sketch our adopted apple tree to see the changes it has made this fall season, we will be practicing letter and number writing, learning more about respecting our own and other people’s personal space, creating ceramic art, planting paper whites, studying problem solving, learning new math games, discovering boarder patterns and the Tree Lady will be coming on friday to teach us about trees and paper making, Fun! Please remember to donate those interesting Creation Station recyclables for our classroom inventions and please check the parent out box by the classroom door, for take home projects you might like to do to help keep our classroom flowing smoothly, we appreciate all you do!
