It is two days before spring break. I want to wish all the Lewis’ families a relaxed and enjoyable family time. The holiday starts with the annual school play, which will be this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Don’t miss this show. There is plenty of humor for both adults and children. You cannot beat the price of a $1.00 or $2.00 for a live theater experience. If you have previous plans for Friday, there will a performance on Saturday at 12:30p.m.
Also, report cards are going home on Friday. I am so proud of the many accomplishments our students are demonstrating. They are showing improved comprehension in reading, and they are writing complex, multiple paragraph papers. Some report cards might not show certain students at the third grade benchmarks yet, but they all have made amazing progress. The bar keeps on being raised, but our students keep accepting the challenge. I recognize that your consistent support and positive attitude contributes to the continued success of Lewis’ students.
