Our third grade students finished their math work samples last week. Most students did very well if they understood the term “dimensions.” There will be another opportunity to take another math work sample at a later time.
I am videoing the students’ speeches this week. It is evident that they have worked hard on them. I will make a DVD, and I will share it on art night.
Speaking of Art Night, the students will make expressionistic self portraits, which will be displayed for art night. This art project requires the students to make self portraits, using collage and acrylic paint. If you have any magazines that have large face pictures, please send them to school tomorrow or Friday. We will cut them out, and use them for the portraits. Thanks for your help!
