This week is Ms. Breen’s last week in our classroom, and we’re very sad to see her leave. However, the good news is she will still be here at Lewis and be working in Ms. Logue’s classroom with first graders! We wish her lots of luck with that! Our colonization simulation continues with colonists buying supplies and loading their ships this week. Colonists earned wealth units by completing mapping assignments last week. Next Monday we will be walking over to Learning Garden Laboratory in the morning; we invite parents to walk over with us so if you are available, let me know! Also we still need two more dads to fill in Monday and Tuesday nights at camp and one Tuesday night. Please call our office if you can volunteer to go to camp with us, Dad! Homework this week is reading and math (sent home last Friday) and optional colonial craft projects!
