There are spies our in room! The British soldiers are trying to find out where the food and weapons are stored in each colony, and some colonists have had their homes searched without their consent! Last week we made secret messages with invisible ink and developed codes! War has begun…our Battle for Independence (which happens to be the book we are reading in our reading groups!) Next week we will have lessons from the FLASH curriculum (Family Life and Sexual Health.) If you would prefer that your child be excluded from this health class, please send me a note and I will give your child the alternative health book assignments. This is the last week for homework! Math and reading assignments are due on Friday. We are in the process of making our class t-shirts, and they are turning out great!
