First and Second Grade Reading Groups
I am sending home two paper books per week with my first and second grade readers. Please read these with your children and celebrate the progress they are making in their reading. Then, put them in a place where they can easily find them, so they can reread the books from time to time. When children are learning to read, rereading books helps them work on their fluency, remember sight words and build their confidence.
TAG Nominations
TAG Nominations were due on November 26th. Students will be tested some time in January. The TAG office will notify you with specific details closer to the date.
