Please feel free to stop in and help for an hour or two anytime between 10 am and 1 pm. Families, kids, friends and neighbors are all welcome! Initially we will meet at the tool shed to gather tools and head out to the new tree planting on Evergreen Street and 45th Avenue. Half of the strip was already weeded by a mystery volunteer/neighbor so we will be weeding between the remaining five trees. After that we will move to do some work in the vegetable garden along the east-side of the school (weeding garden beds, mulching pathways, and staking tomatoes). If we finish this, we will migrate into the Lewis Garden where I would love to do some morning glory removal which is encroaching on the compost pile.
