End of Year Assembly

This afternoon we gathered to honor our 5th grade students and to celebrate the end of the school year. Thanks to all those that were able to take part and a big thank you to our 5th grade parents for putting on a great picnic for our 5th grade students.

Memorial Day Holiday Monday - No School

Staff Appreciation Week

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful parent community for the kindness and support they provide, and for the wonderful expressions of support they have provided this week during our Staff Appreciation Week. The online survey is designed to gather information about your relationship with, and how you feel about your student’s school. Lewis Community Dinner, May 15

Lewis Community Dinner, May 15

We will be hosting a community dinner at the school featuring local, seasonal food. The menu includes Spring Minestrone Soup, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, Fresh Green Salad, Farro Salad with Peas, Asparagus and Feta, fresh bread, and a Strawberry Rhubarb Compote over ice cream for dessert. Dessert will be served in the school garden. There will be a suggested donation of $5-$10

Run for the Arts Rescheduled for Friday, May 1…

Because of the weather, we have rescheduled our Run for the Arts. It will now take place on Friday, May 1, 2009.

Lewis Dines Out: Tuesday, April 28th at Pizzicato Pizza on 61st and Division.  All day long whenever anyone purchases anything 20% goes to Lewis.

On Friday, students in 4th and 5th grade worked in the technology lab creating short animation projects around the theme of the Dr. King holiday and or the Inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama.
