Lewis Elementary School We had a great turn out today for our Community Care Day. I would like to thank all of our students, parents and community members who came out to help clean up the school grounds. 3rd Kindergarten Session Added

We are happy to announce that because of an enrollment increase, we have added a third full day kindergarten session. This is a result of the Superintendent’s effort to keep class size in kindergarten below 26. We are happy to have Sarah Kohn join Cindy DiCenzo and Dana Jacobsen as our kindergarten team.

Immunization Information

The Multnomah County Health Department Community Immunization Clinic (CIC) offers low or no cost immunizations for children. Below you will find more information. Schedule: AUGUST 2008
Open: Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays
9:00-11:30 am & 1:00-4:30 pm

Staff Additions

I am writing to inform you of several staff additions since school closed for the year.
Tracy Buckley will join our staff as our new school secretary, replacing Kathy Grahn who retired at the end of the year.
