Today students in Mr. Colvin’s classroom, under the direction of student teacher Erin Altz, used the map making skills they have been working on in class, to create a large scale map of Oregon on the school playground. Using a coordinate grid, they followed the directions on their paper maps to plot out their chalk replica. It was great to see this map develop over the course of the day.
