Wednesday, October 3, 2012 Lewis Elementary will celebrate International Walk and Bike to School Day with a number of events and celebrations. We are getting very excited to host the festivities for the upcoming International Walk and Bike Day, including welcoming local dignitaries to our school. There are many great ways you and your family can participate. Walk, Bike, Skate or Scoot to school and join us for the celebration Wednesday morning.
There will be music, raffle, hot chocolate plus Oregon pears, Clif bars, coffee and treats! Principal Lauer will introduce local leaders in support our our outstanding program. Our Park and Parade and North Side Bike Train will be up and running Wednesday morning, too. Please join the fun and support our Walk and Bike Program!
