On Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 the fused glass project that was completed last spring under the direction of artist Lisa Wilcke was installed in The Dip. The project, created by students in Ms. Vasquez and Ms. Leake’s classrooms, is now installed in The Dip near the music room. Special thanks to Lewis parent, Bob Brinda, for his work installing this project and also with his work with a similar project that is installed at the main entrance.
Both are beautiful additions to building, and both are a result of our work with The Right Brain Initiative, and also a result of our work raising funds for the arts through our annual Run for the Arts. A reminder that our annual run is scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
