We are very proud of our lunch time recycling program. Through this program we compost all of our lunch waste, and recycle much of the plastic bottles and containers that are packed in student lunches. This program is dependent on parent and community volunteers.
With the start of the new school year w are seeking additional volunteers. There are 10 positions to fill each week to run the cafeteria recycling program. Are you looking for a small time commitment but big impact volunteer opportunity? The cafeteria recycling program is a great way to help at Lewis. We are looking for volunteers who are able to help once a week or twice a month from 11:45 am-1:10 pm.
