We had a great day for our Run for the Arts Wednesday. We would like to thank Mr. Woods and our many parent volunteers for their work making the run possible. Sponsor sheets were returned to students to collect funds. Please return funds and sheets by Monday, April 26th. Students who score 30 or more receive a t- shirt; if you do not want a t-shirt specify “NO SHIRT” on the sponsor sheet and an additional $7.50 goes toward Lewis. For students who do not have a score of 30, you can purchase a t-shirt for an additional $7.50. Thank you for your participation!

NEW for 2012-2013 School Year: Lewis will he changing to fee-for-service kindergarten in the fall. This means families will need to pay tuition for full day kindergarten. Register now to learn more about fee for-service kindergarten and scholarships: Families qualifying for Free or Reduced Priced Meals do not pay tuition. Families who qualify for Free and Reduced-priced Meals may be
eligible for a partial scholarship.

This year our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students had the opportunity to work with musicians Kate Finn and Rick Weiss to each write, produce, and record a song. We have compiled all 7 songs onto a CD available for purchase. The cost is $5 and the funds raised will go to support arts and technology programs at Lewis.
Please consider purchasing one. The CD's are available in the school office and will also be sold at upcoming school events.
