The Lewis Elementary Holiday Bazaar is this Saturday, November 7th from 10 am – 3 pm. This is the first opportunity of the year for purchasing holiday gifts. Here is what you can expect to find . . . we have over 90 artists (including children, parents and teachers of Lewis) coming with their high quality items. These items are often one of a kind or made in small runs. Give a truly unique gift this year by shopping at this sale. When you support the Lewis Holiday Bazaar you help raise funds for our school while helping artists earn a living, supporting the local economy and you can get unique gifts for the holidays. Everyone wins!!
Student Made Items. Remember, you are encouraged to come to the Bazaar at 9:30 to guarantee that your child's handmade card will still be available for purchase. After 10 am the cards are available on a first come first serve basis. Thanks for supporting this and other PTA sponsored events!

NEW for 2012-2013 School Year: Lewis will he changing to fee-for-service kindergarten in the fall. This means families will need to pay tuition for full day kindergarten. Register now to learn more about fee for-service kindergarten and scholarships: Families qualifying for Free or Reduced Priced Meals do not pay tuition. Families who qualify for Free and Reduced-priced Meals may be
eligible for a partial scholarship.

This year our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students had the opportunity to work with musicians Kate Finn and Rick Weiss to each write, produce, and record a song. We have compiled all 7 songs onto a CD available for purchase. The cost is $5 and the funds raised will go to support arts and technology programs at Lewis.
Please consider purchasing one. The CD's are available in the school office and will also be sold at upcoming school events.
