International Walk & Bike Day
Lewis will observe International Walk & Bike Day on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Students walking, scooting, skating, and biking to school should stop by the Walk and Bike table on the playground for a cup of hot chocolate.

Lewis Open House, September 22, 2009
Students and families are invited to attend our Lewis Open House on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:00 pm. We will meet on the playground for a general welcome and introductions and then families will have the opportunity to visit classrooms.

2 Hour Late Opening This Wednesday, September 16
A reminder that Lewis and all Portland Public Schools will open 2 hours late on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. School will begin at 10:40 this Wednesday.

Animation Work…
On Friday, students in 4th and 5th grade worked in the technology lab creating short animation projects around the theme of the Dr. King holiday and or the Inauguration of President Elect Barack Obama.
