May Walk & Bike Challenge
There are 20 school days in May – how many days do you think you can use your leges to get school? Look for pledge tables near the front office and outside between now and May 1. Your first opportunity is this Thursday morning when you check in for Walk & Bike Day. Register for Kindergarten
If you have an student coming to Lewis for kindergarten next year, please stop by the school office to register. For more information, please contact the school office at 503-916-6360.
NEW for 2012-2013 School Year: Lewis will he changing to fee-for-service kindergarten in the fall. This means families will need to pay tuition for full day kindergarten. Register now to learn more about fee for-service kindergarten and scholarships: Families qualifying for Free or Reduced Priced Meals do not pay tuition. Families who qualify for Free and Reduced-priced Meals may be
eligible for a partial scholarship.

This year our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students had the opportunity to work with musicians Kate Finn and Rick Weiss to each write, produce, and record a song. We have compiled all 7 songs onto a CD available for purchase. The cost is $5 and the funds raised will go to support arts and technology programs at Lewis.
Please consider purchasing one. The CD's are available in the school office and will also be sold at upcoming school events.
